when i draw digitally, i try to catch the things that make a place special and then sketch out a few rough plans first, until i'm happy with a final composition. i then use an ipad prO AND PENCIL TO DRAW IT OUT AND PAINT IT IN which is VERY SIMILAR TO MY APPROACH WITH ACRYLIC PAINTINGS. THE SOFTWARE I USE CAN DO LOTS OF FANCY THINGS LIKE CREATE SHAPES FOR YOU OR CHANGE THE COLOUR FOR YOU BUT I PREFER TO KEEP IT SIMPLE SO I IGNORE ALL THAT AND USE ONE PEN, ONE BRUSH AND A RUBBER AND DO IT ALL BY HAND.
